Speaker Bio

Haystack methodology encompasses almost everything that is needed to create a custom application: Zinc data storage format, data call standardization with markers and marker lists, and Rest API standardization with ops. But, you still must put it all together. In this session, you will learn how to implement Haystack “ops” and “markers” with wire sheet programming, using an open-source tool for Haystack data modeling. This session will also demo the power and ease of working with Haystack models within an HTML5 visualization environment. We will show how users can build their own applications using the UI development and block programming tools in Visualytik. You will learn how easy it is to create a tenant feedback app, chart interactivity, DVR-like playback capabilities and other features of a complex application. This session includes a demo of open-source ProjectBuilder-Plus (PB+). The PB+ editor makes it easy to work on large trend data files from your desktop, adding Project-Haystack tagging and custom extensions in preparation for data analytics and visualization applications. PB+ imports building operational data as raw XML and CSV files and exports Project-Haystack-compliant Zinc files.
