Matt Horton is the President and Co-Founder of sensorFact Services, Inc., and is a technology evangelist and software developer with over three decades of experience in start-up situations ranging in industries from Telecommunications, Internet, Financial, Automotive, Building Automation & Energy Management, and currently the Internet of Things.
Before the age of nineteen, Matt became a Certified Systems Engineer for Apple Computer, Inc. and was instrumental in bringing pre-press publishing systems to many South Florida area businesses and government agencies. In the years since that early start, Matt has led the IT/IS efforts of three Telecommunication companies and six Internet companies, which include the likes of Intellicall, Transactive, Daimler-Chrysler, E-LOAN, and The Cobalt Group. Several innovations Matt has been involved with developing include: Prepaid Phone Card Systems, Electronic Chain-of-Custody Documentation Network, Electronic Hunting & Fishing License Distribution, Internet Based Telecommunication Services, Web Based Direct-to Consumer Financing Products, and Online Automobile Auctions. He has pioneered the use of advanced IT techniques in the development of building automation, data connectivity, cyber security, cloud sourcing, and SaaS model platforms.
